What's the day-to-day of your role like?
It’s my job to plan and coordinate global marketing activities for SK tes. On a daily basis that comprises anything from distributing press releases, researching trends, or reading up on new regulations affecting the markets we operate in, through to writing whitepapers and blog posts, working on our website, and developing inbound marketing campaigns in collaboration with a great team. Every day is different in marketing, that’s what makes it interesting.
Why did you join SK tes?
Predominantly due to SK tes' reputation, size, and global coverage. It was an exciting opportunity to work for an organization with global reach and in a global role.
Tell us an interesting fact about you.
What is your favorite film?
I find it very hard to choose favourites! I enjoyed What we Did on Our Holiday recently – it made me laugh out loud and that always feels good.
Do you have a favorite saying?
There is only one way to eat the elephant, that’s one bite at a time. It’s a bit of a strange saying but it helps to think about it when tackling big challenges – chunk them up and take them one step at a time.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I’d visit Japan, it seems like it has the perfect mix of incredible cities, interesting culture and beautiful landscapes.
What do you like to do to unwind?
That’s easy – I go outside! I’m lucky to have an incredible landscape on my doorstep here in Scotland, so I head out to walk, run, or hike in the mountains.
What's the most unique aspect of working here?
The opportunity to interact with people around the world. On any given day I can be working with people in the Philippines and South Korea in the morning, Sweden, Spain, or Germany in the middle of the day, and then North America in the afternoon. I learn new things about people, places, and weather events around the world every day!
What does it mean to you, to work for an organization which is sustaining tomorrow?
Joining a purpose-driven company that was fundamentally doing something positive and sustainable, was a ‘must’ for me and I’m proud to work for SK tes.
