What's the day-to-day of your role like?
My day revolves around ensuring SK tes New Zealand consistently goes above and beyond for both our global and local clients. I also work closely with our exceptional teams across the APAC region, making sure we’re all aligned to deliver top-notch solutions.
Why did you join SK tes?
It was the people, hands down. The shared vision for sustainability, the constant evolution of challenges, and the incredible growth that comes with being part of a genuine global leader drew me right from the start.
Tell us an interesting fact about you.
What is your favorite film?
It has to be The Goonies. There’s something timeless about Sloth devouring chocolate – an absolute classic moment!
Do you have a favorite saying?
“Never give up, never stop learning.” It’s a reminder to keep pushing boundaries and always strive for growth.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Africa, without a doubt – I’d love to go on safari and witness wild animals in their natural habitat. There’s nothing quite like the raw beauty of nature.
What do you like to do to unwind?
I’m happiest when I’m playing the guitar or drums, losing myself in music, reading, kayaking, or swimming. Each brings its own sense of calm and recharges me for the next day.
What's the most unique aspect of working here?
For me, it’s always been the people – the collective ambition to improve, innovate, and stay ahead. There’s a palpable energy here, a drive that’s unmatched.
What does it mean to you, to work for an organization which is sustaining tomorrow?
As someone of Māori heritage, sustainability isn’t just a concept; it’s woven into our very fabric. It’s about respecting the environment and living in harmony with it. This shared commitment to sustainability is one of the main reasons I’ve dedicated over 14 years to SK tes – it truly sets us apart.
