What's the day-to-day of your role like?
A typical day for me involves reviewing and verifying documents related to environmental and safety compliance that are requested by customers. I ensure all tasks are completed and uploaded on time. Additionally, I oversee the monthly data submissions to our Sustainability platform, making sure everything is aligned with the required standards. It’s a varied role that keeps me on my toes, balancing routine processes with more dynamic tasks.
Why did you join SK tes?
I was drawn to SK tes because of the diversity of its business and the variety of challenges it presents. Each task comes with its own complexities, offering me the chance to continuously grow and develop new skills. Working here has been a valuable learning experience and has allowed me to push my boundaries and enhance my professional abilities.
Tell us an interesting fact about you.
What is your favorite film?
My all-time favourite film is Pirates of the Caribbean. I love the sense of adventure that runs through the story, the thrill of discovering new places, meeting new people, and immersing in different cultures. The characters' resilience, particularly how they find ways to survive against the odds, is both inspiring and entertaining. The plot is complex yet amusing, making it an exciting watch every time.
Do you have a favorite saying?
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” This quote resonates with me deeply, as I believe in maintaining balance in life. Success at work must be complemented by moments of relaxation to bring peace and efficiency. Just like a bicycle ride, it’s not about the speed – it’s about staying steady and continuing the journey, no matter how slow the pace.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Europe is at the top of my travel list. I am fascinated by the diversity of cultures across the continent and the opportunity to explore its rich history and architecture. Visiting multiple countries, each with its own traditions, would be an incredible way to broaden my horizons.
What do you like to do to unwind?
It depends on how much time I have to unwind. If I have a few days off, I enjoy traveling to different cities or even countries to discover new places. But when time is limited, I prefer staying at home, unwinding with a good Netflix series, and simply enjoying some downtime.
What's the most unique aspect of working here?
What stands out most to me about SK tes is the people. Everyone is dedicated, hardworking, and committed to making a meaningful impact. The shared goal of protecting the environment and fostering sustainability for future generations creates a sense of purpose. Moreover, SK tes provides ample opportunities for learning and growth, which I truly appreciate.
