What's the day-to-day of your role like?
It varies a lot according to the periods and the projects. It can be a mix of collecting data, creating ESG reports (such as carbon accounting and social responsibility), setting sustainability targets along with related reduction activities, as well as preparing content to raise awareness about sustainability at TES and the importance of every colleague on this path.
Why did you join TES?
I wanted to take part in shaping a better future for the planet through a company that integrates sustainability into its operations and services. I also really appreciate the human side from the first introduction to the company until now.
Tell us an interesting fact about you.
I studied biology and tropical ecology because I've been fascinated by nature, evolution, and all kinds of living creations since my childhood. Also, I am Italian, and I don't like pizza; risotto is my way to go.
What is your favorite film?
I actually don’t have a favorite movie, but Friends remains my favorite TV series for a long time, I watched it several times in different languages.
What is your favorite saying?
Nothing in life is ever black or white.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I would go to the island of Komodo to see the biggest living lizards in the world and the volcanic landscape.
What do you like to do to unwind?
Taking long walks followed by reading an inspiring book.
What's the most unique aspect of working in TES?
Being in daily contact with colleagues and people of different backgrounds from all over the world.
What does it mean to you to work for an organization which is sustaining tomorrow?
For me, it means contributing to shaping a greener, fairer future, as part of a big team pulling in the same direction.
