Trade Facilitation for the Circular Economy Event

- 5 minute read

Stockholm +50 is a key date on the environmental calendar. The meeting, convened by the UN, is particularly important this year given it is 50 years since the 1972 UN Conference and the establishment of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).

This year’s theme was “Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity.”

Watch Jean, TES’s chief sustainability officer, as she joins a stellar panel of speakers to discuss the challenges related to the transboundary movement of secondary materials, and the role that the Basel Convention could play in facilitating the circular economy.
