SK Tes Announces Expansion with New Facility in Seattle, Washington
The facility expands SK Tes' unmatched global footprint and increases U.S. processing capacity.
The new 42,000-square-foot facility will allow SK Tes to better serve clients in the Pacific Northwest, a region historically underserved by traditional IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) providers. Renovations are underway and expected to be completed by the end of September 2020 to meet rigorous compliance and security standards.
“With the opening of our new Seattle facility, SK Tes reaffirms its commitment to providing full lifecycle IT solutions across the U.S.,” said Eric Ingebretsen, Chief Commercial Officer. “Our clients demand solutions aligned with sustainability goals, and we’re investing to reduce transportation needs and carbon footprint.”
SK Tes also recently opened a 40,000-square-foot, purpose-built center in Virginia, near Washington, DC. Fully operational, this facility serves clients across the mid-Atlantic and northeastern U.S.
The Virginia and Seattle facilities replicate SK Tes’s existing U.S.-based operations and offer deployment services along with a full suite of ITAD solutions. These include onsite data destruction, data center decommissioning, inventory tracking, redeployment and resale of parts/assets, and testing, grading, repair, refurbishment, and recycling of IT equipment. Both facilities are fully certified and permitted.
“Our U.S. expansion is a multimillion-dollar investment driven by strong growth,” said Gary Steele, Chief Executive Officer. “Seattle is a hub of innovation, and we’re excited to deliver secure, efficient, and sustainable ITAD services to long-standing clients in this region.”
With over 2.3 million square feet of owned and operated processing facilities across 40 locations in 20 countries, SK Tes provides customers with a consistent global experience. Our team of more than 1,700 employees delivers services directly—ensuring a truly global solution.
