The new 54,000-square-foot facility opened in early November and will allow TES to deliver IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), Managed Deployment Services (MDS), and e-waste recycling from its new facility.
TES has had a facility in Scotland since 2005, but has outgrown its original 11,500-square-foot premises and moved to a new facility that is more than four times the size of its predecessor.
The new facility will deliver improved security and efficiency through the installation of an enterprise physical security system and improved production areas that are replicated from tested, proven deployments at other facilities across TES’s global infrastructure.
The site in Irvine already hosts several certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Approved Authorized Treatment Facility (AATF), Approved Exporter (AE) Exporter, Approved Battery Treatment Operator (ABTO), and Approved Battery Exporter (ABE).
TES was recently cited as the largest ITAD vendor by Gartner, and this is another example of TES’s continued growth, which is adding more and bigger facilities to an already unrivaled offering.
